Any man can handle his weapons ... look for a guy who can handle your weapons.

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:38 AM

:roflpuke2: so not what I was referring to... I meant fire arms

frost 03-07-2012 01:38 AM

Your WMDs ... weapons of male destruction.

frost 03-07-2012 01:40 AM

or weapons of male delight o_O

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:40 AM

frost 03-07-2012 01:40 AM

****, thats a good one

Rooster89 03-07-2012 01:43 AM

Why don't you learn to handle firearms? I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T is better

frost 03-07-2012 01:44 AM

Yeah nina, I'll teach you

Rooster89 03-07-2012 01:46 AM

start with a .22 and work your way up slowly at your own leisure.

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:47 AM

I do agree but if a zombie comes at me, I much rather play the damsel in distress card lol

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:48 AM

I actually have gun-savvy friends and an uncle in the are who's been pushing me to get a gun since I turned 19 :icon17:

Anyone who really wants to learn to shoot should start with a class. So many people develop bad habits that they can't break later down the road when they know better.

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:53 AM

Yah that's what I've heard. I'm having trouble ignoring the sound when shooting indoors. I may need better butt ear plugs

I guess but what is considered best is constantly changing. I say what works best for you is best.

I mean nowadays they say cup and saucer is bad, and they say to use the marksman gripping style on rifles.

If you are looking for competition shooting or hitman work, yes everything should be proper. But an affordable gun that you feel comfortable with, people do it different.

put a dime on the front sight post. thats the best trick in the world for overcoming the flinch.

sexZness 03-07-2012 01:58 AM

Huh... interesting

Rooster89 03-07-2012 02:00 AM

yeah its an old soldier's trick.

course i mean dry fire it with the dime.

sexZness 03-07-2012 02:03 AM

S&W M&P 40. Had a glock for years until I shot the M&P. It was done after that.

I should introduce you to my sister. she might as well go to glock church and be glockologist!

MandP 40 is a nice gun. I am mostly a rifle shooter being an outdoorsmen, but I do like my SW1911. cept the trigger.. been meaning to upgrade it.

I thought I loved my glock, lol.

Can't go wrong with a 1911, it's practically the perfect gun.

Problem is, its big. full size. and I ain't really got the cheddar for a good carry size 1911, ie Kimber ultra carry II.

So instead I've been looking at Sig 220 compact/carry and the HK45C. which don't make too much sense cuz they almost as darn expensive as the kimber.

Yeah, the glock actually felt better in my hand. While the M&P didn't feel as good in my hand, I think that's because it was correcting my bad form to make better shots.

Thats an interesting way to look at it. the M&P has a shorter trigger pull than the G23 right? that too should help accuracy a lot.

My sister carries a G23 gen III and swears by it. going to be shooting it for the first time this month. keeping my mind open.

I don't think so. The M&P trigger pull may be longer, but a bit more crisp. But it's trigger safety forces me to squeeze the trigger instead of pulling/jerking.

frost 03-07-2012 02:33 AM

Alright dude, gotta hit it. Later!
