sexZness 02-03-2012 12:25 PM

fully custom 6 digit plates in texas cost $195/year, $495/5yrs and $595/10yrs :icon14: fakin expensive

eddieconfetti 02-03-2012 12:44 PM

dont get vanity plates. not worth it

:icon08:

ClemsonWill 02-03-2012 01:25 PM

Yeah, that's crazy expensive. Ours are like $100 one time fee.

yup this^ but i can't come up with something cool for my truck with 6 digits so i decided to save the money. i had one in NC (8 digits) but decided to go with just a generic tag in SC

ClemsonWill 02-03-2012 01:29 PM

I tried to get a custom plate but you can't get a custom collegiate plate in SC. So I just went with the collegiate plate. Had to support my other love with my z.

HKYStormFront 02-03-2012 01:30 PM

totally understandable. i asked if i could get a UNC tag in SC but for some reason the lady looked at me like :wtf: :shrugs:

eddieconfetti 02-03-2012 01:44 PM

i had one. it was 3ddi3. eddie was taken. but i feel like its a kid thing now. o and 3 is my favorite number

XwChriswX 02-03-2012 01:46 PM

I want to get a custom tag, but the phrase on the tag is pretty ghey.

And the regular tag of 2 broken groups of 3 makes it hard to think of anything good.

7 letters is okay, 6 is alright, but broken 6 is meh. :shakes head:

Alchemy 02-03-2012 01:49 PM

Tags in Jersey are a one time fee of under $100.

XwChriswX 02-03-2012 01:51 PM

My fee for having the custom tag in AZ was 50 bucks, but because it was for families of fallen police officers, $33 of that went to that organization, not the state. I don't mind paying more when it goes to a good cause.

HKYStormFront 02-03-2012 02:02 PM

yea same here^ unfortunately there aren't any really good looking and/or good cause tags that i like in SC. i actually prefer the tag i have. it's colorful and nice to look at. your AZ tag, ironically, looks like a PA regular tag :bowrofl:

True, it does. But I figure in the event I'd ever got pulled over, it might give the cop just that little nudge to just give me a warning. :icon17:

After looking through the SC tags, it sucks but I might just go with a regular tag. Not any interesting custom ones, the Veteran tag is eh, the personal tag has a stupid phrase on it, and I don't care for sports teams or college fraternities so there isn't much else.

The only one that would be worth a damn to me is the H.L. Hunley tag:

Oh snap, I just saw they DO have an SCV tag! :excited:

Dude, done.

HKYStormFront 02-03-2012 02:12 PM

it's a nice color of blue

XwChriswX 02-03-2012 02:14 PM

I just need to get my family records from my mom to denote my ancestors and I can get that tag. Sweet! It's only $30 every 2 years.

HKYStormFront 02-03-2012 02:21 PM

nice that's not terrible. there is something to be said for getting a tag that not many people have (looks wise).

Plus depending on how many letters you get, it's a one word tag, not split 3.

I could do TROLLOL :rofl2:

HKYStormFront 02-03-2012 02:37 PM

that'd be good/appropriate

what about TROLH8R :bowrofl:
