370Z Terrible Wreck in News

:( This was in Fort Walton Beach, FL. It's around a hour east of Pensacola, FL.

The picture link is within the article.

Would be interesting to know why the a-hole in the truck was chasing the z?

frost 11-03-2011 08:33 PM

HOLY ****, I hope that's no one off the board

Trips 11-03-2011 08:38 PM

Damn and I agree ^^

djpathfinder 11-03-2011 09:40 PM

Wow, it's amazing the passenger only had minor injuries.

When I viewed the page with the article there was a Meguiar's ad at the bottom. I think it might be a bit late for that. ;-)

I don't know. It's tragic any way you look at it. Could be street racing, road rage, anything. The article says alcohol was possibly involved. :shakes head: What a horrible pity. The pictures at the scene are heartbreaking.

Thechidz 11-04-2011 07:40 AM

seemed to me to be more of a road rage situation. People are a-holes and I wouldn't doubt the guy in the truck is some hick that didn't like the look of the new fangled sports car. Now the z driver might have flown past him at high speed or something but I'm thinking the truck driver was the road rager after that.

It looks like a standard Silverado to me.

ZeeingAround 11-04-2011 01:29 PM

The back of the Z was completely smashed from the truck.

firefighters at the scene had to cut through markham’s nissan to shut off the engine because it was still running despite extensive damage.

Full size trucks are pretty quick these days. My brothers Silverado can move when you burry your foot on the gas.
