I asked the same thing. Apparently they alternate each year (I just moved here last August).

While i was working at my squadron here in sand diego, we housed for the weekend some Canadian helo's which were pretty damn crazy, but the best part about it i would have to say is there "sign" or "symbol" and its pretty much basic hippie-ness with a pot leaf(instead of the maple leaf) and peace sign, was surprised they could get away with it. The japanese have some pretty cool helo's to they are like peal white with a clear coat, oh so easy to clean. they just hose it down and call it a day.

Flew there a lot back in the mid 80's to go to NTC in Ft. Irwing.

I'm moving away from that apartment at the end of the month (moving to a house in a different part of town). I'm going to miss living there during the air show.

lol, cow, I can totally relate to this experience. I was just telling XwChriswX last week that right before the football games last Sunday, I had to run an errand, and the USAF National Guard was flying A-10's overhead. It's just extremely cool.

Nice. I lived near the Air Force Academy in Colorado for a few years. They put on some amazing air shows for graduation. I've seen pretty much every plane they flew from stealth fighters, stealth bombers, big ol' cargo planes and tons of those puny gliders they train in. :) I miss it.
