Forza 2 Tuning Calculator

I used a similar site for Forza 3. Both site are based on the same formulas so they should give the same results.

The roll-bar and bump settings still carry over pretty well, but I think the difference in the tire modeling has made the spring rates they show outdated. I typically need to bump the spring rates up around 30% from what they show. Also the differential settings are way too high for my tastes.

Got a review ready yet? I've heard of some problems with the Fanatec wheels and Forza 4 -- One a bug with getting 0 credits for races in World Tour and the other with sensitivity settings and unpredictable steering feedback. Have you experienced any problems?

no problems at all with the credits... the only weird feedback issue is when you use the rewind feature....( i never use it so i can get more credits %) but if you rewind and your not on a straight sometimes when you resume the wheel wont be pointed in the right direction and you wreck again...but thats a minor thing

as far as the sensitivity the braking is what takes some getting used to and takes tweaking.....

the pedal itself has a dial with a 0-10 load cell feedback feature.... it controls how the wheel itself will vibrate when full braking force is applied to let you know ABS has kicked in

so if you set it high you dont have to press the brake with much pressure at all to make the ABS come on..... 7 out of 10 is about what i keep it on... when im doing thoe hard 1 on 1 chase events with the slower cars... i set it on 10 so i just tap the brake and get full braking....

i think the problem people are having is that the pedal itself is very stiff and it doesnt have much travel.... where like a plastic logitech GT pedal will go all the way to the floor with little pressure... the CSR is very firm... so you need to get used to that.... it has a bolt you can adjust to make it loose...but its way too loose that way... i tried it

and all thats needed is just adjust the load cell where the ABS comes on without you straining to push it to the floor as thats not needed

if you set the load cell to like 1 you can come out of the seat pressing the brakes and the car wont stop well

in addition the wheel itself has an ABS setting that 0-100 that engages the ABS depending on how far the pedal is pressed i have mine on 90...so ABS is on at 90% of the pedal pressed fully in... combine this with the load cell set high you can stop pretty easily.... it just takes getting used to as its different than any wheel set up ive used before

but yeah over all man i love it... no issues at all for me.. the paddle shifters are very realistic and have a real quality feel to them....

i will make a quick vid of me playing it tomorrow so you guys can see

Forza is badass but in 4 they messed up on the 370z. No shift ligjt or aero package that it comes with with the wheels and leather package that the base 370 in the game has

^^ Cool. I think I'll pull the trigger on the Wheel/Pedal/Shifter combo soon. Been using the old MS wireless FF wheel with my seat right now and it works well, but when I compare how the wheel feels with the DFGT I use for GT5 there is no comparo -- even that cheap PS3 wheel feels worlds better than the MS wheel. I imagine that the CSR will feel even better and it will work without having to switch wheels on my seats when I want to pop in GT5.
