Aftermarket Business

Why in the aftermarket work or anything for that matter are parts cheaper when ordering from a reseller than the actual manufacture?

Sometimes the items are "knock offs" from the original. Or that reseller company might buy in bulks which gives them a cheaper price. :dunno:

I know there not knock offs. They might buy in bulk eventually but when you order from the reseller they call the manufacture and they drop ship it to your house. either way the manufacture still sells the same amount. I don't know then

manufacturers sell at their suggested retail price. they want the retailers too also, but competition between retailers makes for lower pricing and less of a profit margin for them, but more sales.
