Not Idiocy. Conscious ignorance. and that is not deserving of anyones pity. As soon as one stops questioning everthing but oneself. that person stop progressing cognitively.

I have no problem with religion. More subjects than just religion are chosen for conscious ignorance. and the subject of it mustn't be condemned, rather the creature that once was human which chose to stop thinking for themselves. Seriously. I was revolted, i was disgusted. Then I made myself stop caring, because people like that don't even deserve my disgust.
