The way things are right now, I would believe that. I have never had a more stressful time in my career. I got screwed years ago in something you think will never happen to you. Pres' retired, new man came in and told senior management "you're not my team, I didn't hire you". Within a short time period all were gone. I had been there 17 years with a stellar track record. That incident set my retirement schedule back 8 to 10 years, or I would be in a position to possibly early retire now. As it stands, I'm now shooting for 62.

Yeah, I've been sold to another company before. Bailed before I got the boot. The new owner didn't seem as into safety as the previous one.

Well, to add insult to injury, a damn teenage girl hit my car in a parking lot (while I was in the store) today.....

damage to the rear bumper, rear wheel (not the matte one unfortunately), rear quarter panel, passenger side side skirt, and passenger side door....

Wonder how this is going to work out with forgestar now that one of hte wheels has been damaged?

Pics later...too pissed right now

frost 10-11-2009 03:05 PM

I can't imagine this will go well with forgestar.

Caravanshaka 10-11-2009 03:18 PM

^I'm sure it won't...luckily it is only damage to the finish and not the actual aluminum...and if the finish was defective in the first place.

Trips 10-11-2009 03:23 PM

Hey Caravan, I don't know how religious you are but I think your due for a blessing! what bad luck!

Not as bad as I would expect. But damn, how long was she going to drive while rubbing your car.

Trips 10-11-2009 03:46 PM

she got scraped good, some minor body and paint and she'll be as good as new. Again sorry!

Caravanshaka 10-11-2009 03:48 PM

ya, only 2 dents right on the curves of the wheel flare on the quarter panel...2 little cuts into the side skirt, the rest is just paint

frost 10-11-2009 03:51 PM

+1 this matters alot

kdo2milger 10-11-2009 04:00 PM

i wonder if paintless dent repair could pop the two little dents out...

did the scraps go all the way to the primer or do you think they can wet sand and polish most of it out?

although if the plastic is cut, it would/should be replaced...then you have to worry about color matching...

sloterg 10-11-2009 04:02 PM

wow.. omg.. caravan.. i swear u are have the worst luck..

either u did something very bad earlier in ur life..

or ur gonna get some reaaaaaaaaaal awesome karma in the future.

Trips 10-11-2009 04:07 PM

hey Caravan! will you get a loaner while it's getting fixed or you have a spare car for the time being.

Caravanshaka 10-11-2009 04:09 PM

will need a loaner, it's my daily driver...don't see primer on the scratches...but our paint is so thin I doubt they can wet sand and re-clear.
