Whats the story on ur wheels btw? I havent been around much lately

blue660r01 10-07-2009 02:12 PM

If I did that for someone that wanted to buy them, I'd price it to get my money back out of the deal overall (keeping in mind I only paid $1,200 instead of the $1,400 they list for). so if forgestar paid for it all I'd sell em for $1,200.

I wouldn't sell them as-is, I don't want someone else unhappy with them.

Tires I'd end up having to sell since I want those Vossens and they are 20"

i doubt they would pay for you to powdercoat.... really doubting it....

i really think you should take's Lou's offer and refund those FuglyStars at once.......... better not wait or they will not accept it back at all.....

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:15 PM

factor in 2300 for the vossens at MSRP..... also note that nothing here is sold at MSRP... so take some off

ya, 3 glossy, 1 satin...not a single finish covers the entire wheel...pinstripe already chipping off on one of the wheels...thats the basic summary.

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:21 PM

did they NOT put a coat of clear after the pin stripe.... that could be why it's chipping off already

Caravanshaka 10-07-2009 02:29 PM

i could probably setup up a powdercoating deal in my garden shed and do a better job... plus better pin striping.....lol

ssqpolo 10-07-2009 02:34 PM

20's are perfect. we got a big but and we cannot lie. venaci's look soooooo dope. but im loving those teaser vossen. they're like 360forged, but with quality and customer service

XwChriswX 10-07-2009 02:35 PM

Thats prolly why they had to wait so long... They made 3 then they pissed off the pinstriper, so he said screw you guys, and they were stallin while they tried to find a new pinstriper. To no avail they decided to try fixing the one wheel, and one of them attempted to do it himself, but having no clue how, you see the end result...

TX_370 10-07-2009 02:35 PM

I tried to find Caravan's journal for Blue... yeah I'm done searching through this thread, lol - only found the one from 88 days passed.

those vossens could convince me of this quite easily

still probably will be driving around on 19s though.

blue660r01 10-07-2009 02:36 PM

I just read the last page or 2 and I am good lol thanks tho br0ham

phelan 10-07-2009 02:37 PM

and as long as i drop a little i think 19s look good no problem

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:37 PM

funny thing is 360Forged claims they use the best material but only has 3 yr warranty while Vossens are lifetime

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:38 PM

Look at the twandies and the offset........ isnt it just yummie..lol

ssqpolo 10-07-2009 02:42 PM

19s are stock...that means 22s can fit!!!! nah. seriously tho..20's are perfect

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:44 PM

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:45 PM

Wait, do you have a set or more pictures or something?

Caravanshaka 10-07-2009 02:51 PM

man those wheels look good...too bad they can't ship them right now :(

TX_370 10-07-2009 02:51 PM

Nogood, is "in" with Shumby and they have real pics

phelan 10-07-2009 02:53 PM

let the OGs in on this man :wtf:

nogoodname 10-07-2009 02:54 PM

:icon08:

keep in mind the spokes look flat in the side shot pics, but looking straight at them.... they have a cool design to it... the side of the spokes changes angle as it gets closer to the lug hole and wraps around it..... hard to explain...........

I think pictures would help this explain it.
