They started the tuning around 9 AM and by 3 PM it was done......and yes, I can feel it! Just a slight 8 HP gain! It drives and takes off really well! (Not that it didn't before) :p

That's it so far......I was asked to come back to Altered Atmosphere next week and they'll re-evaluate it. I was the first one they've done so I'm the guinea pig on this one. :p

Getting a tune is usually more about just HP gain, you usually get some HP gain, rev limiter is increased, and the car is tuned to be more natural.

Ah yes.....the guy who tuned my car is the GT-R tuner for Altered. He would do a dyno...then let the car sit for about 10 minutes....then another dyno....10 minutes.....etc. etc.....I'm happy with how things turned out. Next time I go back to Altered I'm hoping for a little OJT on how the AccessPORT works. I can apparently see what my reaction time is, my quarter mile, and if the "Smurf" blows a CEL, the PORT should tell me the code. Pretty cool stuff! :tup:

I'm not sure what they changed or set....but when I drove home it seems that the car still shifts at the same rpm and mph. Once they installed it, I had to head home to make sure I could get to the hospital for their new visiting hours....:icon14: I'll call Altered tomorrow and speak to the man who did the tune and let you know. :tup:

Lets see.....I still need to do:

Replace factory headlights with the new 6000K bulbs
Install the CF B Pillars
Get right side (passenger side) exhaust pipe looked at....its pushed in a little too far....can't even read the Stillen name on the pipe anymore
A little OJT on the AccessPORT

Still a little bit of work to do....but getting there!
