But it doesnt fit at all?

It technically hools up to the loops, but the loops are a lot closer together in the 370, so it's really baggy as compared to the 350, where its taut.

2theextreme 09-11-2009 03:59 PM

Did they send you this part #?

Code: 50-3851 < for 370

or

Code:50-3852 < for 350 convertible

But is the Code 50-3851 the same as the 350 coupe....i bet it is. Not made for the 370, but Nissan must have saved money and said yep it fits.

frost 09-11-2009 04:02 PM

I gave up on the local dealer. I will just get one online.
Which site do you guys recommend for the 350Z cargo net? Or just ebay?

Dude, that's BS. I called the local Nissan dealer and told them I wanted the cargo net for a 05 350Z coupe. He wasn't sure one existed, but I insisted that one did and after a few minutes of him searching the parts catalog online, he found it. It was news to him.

The part is officially called the "Trunk Convenience Net" and the part number (at least for Canada) is: 999CI-ZP000.

By the way, it's a perfect fit for the TSX trunk. I couldn't be happier with mine. I still can't figure out why the Acura solution is so complicated by comparison.

nogoodname 09-11-2009 04:10 PM

maybe thats why it didnt fit.....LOL

frost 09-11-2009 04:16 PM

All the packaging has the nissan stuff on it, but this thing is a terrible fit.

Are leaders born or developed? Thoughts?

lol, I know, but it's a lot of effort. I hate the rims on the 350, I've been wanting to replace them, and now people here are starting to sell their 370 rims on the cheap, so just something I'm tossing around.

XwChriswX 09-11-2009 04:56 PM

I don't see why they wouldn't right? They are both 5 lug, and i cant imagine them swapping spacing for 2 models? Or is it more based on the wheel/tire widths?

nogoodname 09-11-2009 04:57 PM

it takes like 20 mins.... jack up both cars and do the switcheroo

More concerned about the spacing. I'm not a big "rim" guy, so I'm sure while a lot of people are very familiar with this, I'm not.

I would just think they wouldn't change them that much stock wise... I mean different wheel, sure, different diameter, sure... But the width/lugs wont change right?

True, guess thats true. It's always like that for some reason...

"Here's a cost saving idea, lets just change the looks but make them the same size so we don't have to change the car itself! And they can be interchangeable!"

"Ehh, that's retarded. I want DIFFERENCE. This is a NEW Car! Change It!"

"Ok, and this guy calls ME retarded..."
