phelan 09-10-2009 10:44 AM

headlight bulbs are for the G right, 370Z uses somethin' else

nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:47 AM

nvrmind, i found it

nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:48 AM

u sure they use something else, headlight bulbs for projectors are the same for all cars

nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:48 AM

my reverse lights are stronger i believe.... 36's are 3 watt while my 19's are 8 watt with high power LEDs

phelan 09-10-2009 10:50 AM

High & low beam headlamp
HID-D2S

According to sylvania

2theextreme 09-10-2009 10:50 AM

According to the Owners Manual, the 370 uses Bulb # D2S which should be these:

V-LEDS.COM High Power Automotive LED Replacment Bulbs, V-HID Headlight Kits

phelan 09-10-2009 10:51 AM

and nogood ur right, urs are stronger, the lumens are waaay up there compared to the 36 3-watts

phelan 09-10-2009 10:57 AM

red car with white/blue tint headlights = ???

nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:57 AM

well, anyways... it's a PITA to change the head light bulbs for both cars
so we have something in common with head light bulbs

i asked him, apparently he got them off of ebay

phelan 09-10-2009 10:58 AM

what's the stock one anyway?

XwChriswX 09-10-2009 10:58 AM

Ugh... I hate my job.

nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:59 AM

stock = 4300K
mine will be = 6000K with blue tint
real blue'ish = 8000K
stupid = 10000K
redonkulous = 12000K

6000K is optimal for viewing the roads... any higher... you will lose visibility but will be more blue

note, blue has the short wavelength

12000k is temperature, not lumen output, it's actually dimmer than stock.

4300-6000k is the best for light output, I got my 6000k bulbs from theretrofitsource.com and they are mirimoto bulbs and VERY high quality for $50

2theextreme 09-10-2009 11:03 AM

Guessing these would work?

D2C D2R/D2S 12000K Xenon HID 2-Bulbs Violet-Blue Pair:eBay Motors (item 150269015472 end time Oct-02-09 06:45:01 PDT)

Thats what I need....redonkulous headlights! :bowrofl:

Caravanshaka 09-10-2009 11:04 AM

any D2s bulb will work, but you want to go with a high quality bulb, phillips are the best but they come at a hefty price. The mirimoto ones have been great for me so far.
