the hp's aren't bad either. we ordered one at the office for $399US and it was really sleek and compact. i couldn't believe how nice and light weight it was.

Another hard drive failure in my office, and Dell support is complete crap today. Where as yesterday I just said "failed drive" and got a new one. Now it seems that I stole the drive or something...

Netbook is good for me bc only school work and other work only. No games or anything. I have a ps2 and 360 for that. Also, I can't remember the last time I used a cd on my pc...lol

Some useful reading maybe, Engadget: What's the best netbook?
|
I'll have a look, anything you like on the link I posted??
|
HPs and MSI Winds have always gotten pretty good reviews, but as you can see they are on the more expensive end. The others really come down to screen size and keyboard. Most netbooks all run the same hardware internally, same CPU/memory/etc., but the case and keyboard are just different.

That true. 450 plus tax is the highest I want to spend.

check this msi out, u're right, same hardware, only case and keyboard. Listed at 379 and with my coupons, it will be 309 with free shipping. |
Looks like a good one, cannot remember if you can upgrade anything with that one or not, but not sure you care about those things.
|
Only looking to upgrade the RAM. I just read about it. Says you got to disassemble to upgrade it. Damn.
