It's a village??

Yeah, I hate it. I grew up outside of New Orleans. I'm used to real cities. North Louisiana in general sucks.

I spent a lot of time in Houston-- it's one of my favorite places in the country.

I live in the city, country side is boring..... Lol

No wonder you said there's no fast food joint near you.

Bigger than a village, slightly, but there is not much to do there.
I mean, when I was visiting I asked what would be nice to do...they came up with the mall idea first.

That's the town in which I work. Shreveport (where I currently live) is a decent size city, but it just "FEELS" small.
I visited a friend in Monroe last year who I'd attended LSU with. She was at the time a reporter for the local ABC station. I got there & we were trying to figure out what to do-- we ended up driving to Shreveport. When we got to Shreveport, we were like, "What do we do here?!"

... so we drove to Dallas.

Thats pretty bad.


Nothing beats when I went to Winnipeg. My cousins were happy to see me and I was happy to see them. Then I asked. Take me around town.
So we when to the biggest sight seeing place. It was called the forks. I thought it was a train museum. I was wrong, it was a bridge over two rivers joining each other.

Then I got banned from a local go kart track for driving aggressively.
I was driving just like drive here in Montreal.

Then I saw the Canadian Mint. That was awesome.


That's all there was to do. I had 3 weeks more to go...... Lol

Shreveport has all the things a normal city does, but it's a smaller/ shitty version of it.

So it goes.
