Yeah seriously. If you don't get on a game the first minute it's released on XBL, it can often be a bloodbath.

Trust me when I say this: DON'T SELL YOUR STOCK WHEELS.

It's always good to have a backup set should anything go awry, or if you decide to trade in the car.

I had a blowout once & where I was at the time, no one had 265-35-18s in stock, so I had to wait a few days. Luckily, I had my stock wheels at home to roll on while waiting.

Caravanshaka 08-18-2009 02:24 PM

I've got another car I can drive if that happens...I'm not worried about selling the stock wheels, I'm keeping the car for quite a while.

close to me, I paid in full on 6/08/2009

cow 08-18-2009 02:50 PM

My other issue is (are?) my damaged wheels. Fedex has agreed to pay to fix the damage, but I've called three shops & then Enkei, all of whom told me the SBC color can't be paint-matched.

I emailed the woman two Fridays ago, didn't hear back from her, so I called her yesterday. She called me today, but I didn't have service at the time. I returned her call, but of course she didn't answer.

******* ****. I'm so sick of getting jacked around.

nogoodname 08-18-2009 02:52 PM

i blow up when i get the run around treatment.

This woman does call back, but it's always a day later. The town I'm working in has sh1t service, so I miss her call most times, but then I'll call her back immediately, only for her to not answer.

She's in Quebec. Can you go get some results for me?

nogoodname 08-18-2009 02:55 PM

where in Quebec??

PM me the address

Caravanshaka 08-18-2009 02:55 PM

damn cow, didn't know you had effed up wheels too. I've had that problem shipping volks via UPS before...the ended up paying for half of the value of the wheels and I got to keep them. Sent the extra money and the lightly damaged wheels to the guy that bought them from me since he was ok with a couple light dings and scratches when it comes with $1,250

I wouldn't mind doing that, but no one's going to want to buy obviously damaged wheels. They're just scratched & paint chipped, but still.

If I can get $1500, I may just try & sell them anyway. I figure if I move them with brand new tires for $1200, that's almost 3k for some other wheels.

When it rains, it pours.
