Mine is a bit for show/daily.
I would like to learn/track it, but not sure I have that much free time currently, maybe once I am out of school.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 11:50 AM

I have the same issue with school as well. Much of the reason I'm on here so much is because I am simultaneously writing essays. Despite the distraction, I have still managed to keep a 3.8 gpa. I'd be valedictorian if I had never found this board :rofl2:

Just call pushing tin, I am sure he can divert a few to get a nice runway open.

Yep, I would be done if I could ever finish a major, think I am up to five now I have started but change majors again.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 11:54 AM

frost 08-02-2009 11:54 AM

Tin's the man. He called in some long distance favors for frost.

I believe I'm going to have my Z as a show car this time.
I've tracked alot in the DC2R already so kinda got bored.
Although it's gunna be a different feeling I'd like to keep off the track this time.
the goal for this car is shooting at Sporty and Luxury :)
Body Dress Up atm should be Zele. But what sucks is I'm gunna have to find someone to custom a quad tip exhaust that fits in the Zele bum.
I dun see a point for me to start investing on a 5g exhaust.

You have no idea how bad I want to switch. But I'm 4 years in now with another year to go. If I switch, I'll add on another year. Can't do it, just going to take what I can get.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 11:55 AM

or be like 2theextreme and pimp it out

I have finished all my basics, and have plenty of extra credits worth nothing, a couple more years and I am done if I stick to my plan, whatever it may be.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 11:57 AM

I don't know. I'm not too satisfied with the paddle shifters. Been bugging me I didn't go with a stick. I always drive stick, and I'm always annoyed when I hit traffic. So I thought an auto would be the way to go, but I feel like a :superghey: using those paddles.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 12:04 PM

just dont get the rear bumper then

frost 08-02-2009 12:04 PM

I like the feeling that I'm driving the car, a feeling I seem to be lacking in the auto.
Plus, there is a weird thing with the paddles. In theory, if you want to downshift a couple gears and floor it, you can. However, with a manual, you always know what gear you're in by where your hand is. You don't have to look. But when I want to downshift with the paddles, I have to look at the display and actually see what gear I'm in. When you need to downshift in a hurry, that second you waste looking cost you a lot.

AND, the car downshifts itself at around 1800 rpm, which is exactly where I tend to downshift. So what happens is me and the car both downshift at the same time, and we go down 2 gears instead of 1. It's maddening.

I can tell when I should change gears, but my ears arent calibrated well enough to know what gear it is. I just hit 3,000 miles. Maybe I will get better at it as time passes.

Shunya 08-02-2009 12:17 PM

^yeah if it's half that price i'd consider about it.
but seriously with that thing only 13whp is gained...
there's plenty more that can go more i believe

shumby 08-02-2009 12:17 PM
