back....and I smashed my pointy finger on my left hand yesterday on the kitchen table and the sound it made....I was scared for a second. Today....its bruised like a son of a gun! Hurts, too! I guess its possible to bruise a bone?

Nope. I'm left handed, and the hurt one is my right. Smashed my thumb 4 times with a framing hammer. Normally I am master supreme with a hammer, just not today.
