nogoodname 09-10-2009 10:57 AM

i asked him, apparently he got them off of ebay

phelan 09-10-2009 10:58 AM

what's the stock one anyway?

XwChriswX 09-10-2009 10:58 AM

Ugh... I hate my job.

stock = 4300K
mine will be = 6000K with blue tint
real blue'ish = 8000K
stupid = 10000K
redonkulous = 12000K

6000K is optimal for viewing the roads... any higher... you will lose visibility but will be more blue

note, blue has the short wavelength

12000k is temperature, not lumen output, it's actually dimmer than stock.

4300-6000k is the best for light output, I got my 6000k bulbs from theretrofitsource.com and they are mirimoto bulbs and VERY high quality for $50

Guessing these would work?

Thats what I need....redonkulous headlights! :bowrofl:

any D2s bulb will work, but you want to go with a high quality bulb, phillips are the best but they come at a hefty price. The mirimoto ones have been great for me so far.
