Was there a recent major tax hike imposed? I know stimulus is going to help law enforcement agencies.

They are underpaid for all the BS they deal with I agree. But they arent the least paid. ALOT of places make like 10k less.

No I mean, I guess I can believe it but with salaries like that and that many men in the force, it sounds like the state would be utterly bankrupt.

Holy hell. Our city has 14K employees TOTAL. Probably a couple thousand cops; and Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the country.
