::knocks on wood::

no issues with that, and I've had a few 100+ days. Of course I don't track yet, and probably won't for a while.

I was really interested in the Camaro, but I have ZERO regrets about buying my Z at the beginning of the year.

Pushing_Tin 06-09-2009 12:16 AM

What up Frosty!

i don't see any reason why i need the S. i already have a video camera, its not like i need it on my phone. the software update will be sufficient enough.

nogoodname 06-09-2009 09:30 AM

Yea, true and the jailbreak gives a video recorder anyways

xiven 06-09-2009 09:49 AM

I have an 8 gig which is plenty for me. I know the new ones are starting at 16 gig but thats probably because of how much space the videos will take up. I wonder why MMS is taking a little longer.

For different reasons.

~AT&T wants to charge for it, but how can they when we get X number of texts (or unlimited) plus unlimited data.
~AT&T is having issues with there data network and being able to support the massive amount of usage the iPhone users use. Basically they underestimated how much people would be on the internet/streaming/etc.

xiven 06-09-2009 09:56 AM

you'd think they schedule it with Apple but I guess thats AT&T for ya

semtex 06-09-2009 10:04 AM

I'm bored. I've managed to secretly automate almost all of my tasks at work, and I work from home so none of my co-workers realize that a financial analysis that should take me 5 hours only takes me about 30 minutes, then I spend the rest of my time goofing off on the net. The person who previously had my current role worked her butt off, 10+ hour days. I don't get it. Even before I automated everything and did things the way she did them, I struggled to fill an 8 hour day. She must be really inefficient or something. At first I thought there must be a ton of stuff that I should be doing that I'm not, and it's going to hit me like a pile of bricks. But I've been doing this for a year now and I have yet to discover anything I've missed. Boredom sucks.

nogoodname 06-09-2009 10:06 AM

Maybe she talked a lot on the phone and did her nails.....lol

xiven 06-09-2009 10:07 AM

Thats true. I've automated alot of daily processes that used to consume most of my day. Now its harder to keep busy for the whole day.

nogoodname 06-09-2009 10:11 AM

How long do u think the Dev team will crack 3.0.

Already has been unlocked, from the beta, now what will change from beta to live release might cause a few days slow down for the dev team. Usually when Apple releases a beta it gets unlocked before it goes live which helps speed up the process.

nogoodname 06-09-2009 10:49 AM

That's cool.

People always ask, but we never got a video actually.
It was in high school, little after school and we have a nice open field by our school. Unloaded it and found some old CRTs out back behind the school and used those, was a bit of the spur of the moment thing.

xiven 06-09-2009 12:21 PM

oh man, that would have been awesome to see

nogoodname 06-09-2009 02:35 PM

nogoodname 06-11-2009 03:41 PM

semtex 06-11-2009 03:42 PM

semtex 06-11-2009 03:48 PM

My wife made this dish once, which I dubbed "Extreme Chicken." She marinated it, then baked it, in habanero sauce. I about died that dish was so hot.

nogoodname 06-11-2009 03:53 PM

i just used whatever i had, black pepper, salt, Ms.Dash spicy mix and some lemon juice...i threw in some potatoes also....then i had that BBQ Gravy...........mmmmmmmm

very simple to make......makes it even better

I'm looking to buy a BBQ, what brands are good and what brands should i avoid??

semtex 06-11-2009 04:00 PM

Depends on the type. Propane? Charcoal?

nogoodname 06-11-2009 04:12 PM

takeda intakes have a vid on there site of the G37 and the 370z dyno runs takedausa.com

nogoodname 06-11-2009 04:13 PM

Propane is best...right??

Relative, my parents love propane because it is quicker and they can get pretty close to charcoal taste through different methods. Then again, pretty close is still not the same.

nogoodname 06-11-2009 04:20 PM

any ideas of whats good for me, i'll only be grilling just for 2 mostly....no need a huge one with a rotisserie......what do you recommend??...i'd like to go with propane.

semtex 06-11-2009 04:35 PM

Your situation sounds like mine. Just grilling for two. Charcoal tastes better, but it just makes more sense to go with propane, IMO. Doesn't make sense to go thru all the fuss of charcoal when I'm just going to use the grill for 10 mins to grill a couple of steaks. I'd recommend either a Weber or a Broil King. Broil King is a Canadian company too, btw. I currently have a Weber, but had a BK before the Weber. Both are good. In fact, if you go with a higher end model, I'd say BK is better.

I like the Weber Summit Series, but it's pricey. Bought mine after killing two Costco grills in 3 yrs, burners corroded & fell apart. I've got the 670, but that might be a bit large if you don't do big grilling parties. The 400 Series is still good sized. I'd say 450, the Weber searing burner isn't that great.

Whatever route you go, with a gas grill get one that has burners that run front to back rather than across. This lets you run a hot and cool side better as well as indirect.

:twocents:

NRGSwing 06-11-2009 04:58 PM

Actually, in Canadia, you might look at Napoleon too. Again, pricey, but will last forever. Much harder to get in the states...
