You're right, it is lame when a cop is a hypocrite and breaks the rules he is supposed to enforce... but that's life. Follow the rules and you shouldn't have any issues. Everyone else will get what's coming to them.

He deserved to get pulled over and he definitely over reacted. I feel the apology was more to save his image after he realized the story was gonna get out soon.

Pretty much, I still it would have been funny if he said,

Don't signal a lane change and the whole police department is there to write a ticket. But when your home security monitoring company alerts them to a break in it take a single officer 4 hrs to get there. I guess there was an unusually large number of people not signaling lane changes while he was in route.

Um, no buddy. Not signaling before you change lanes is a big issue. Why post this when you probably get PISSED if someone cuts you off without signalling? It's not jealously at all.

First there is nothing that requires a cop to inforce every infraction on the law he sees. No signal though. I assume that the cop followed the lambo around until see found a reason to pull it over just like you assume that he cut someone off. I agree that if the were driving like a'holes then no signal fine. But if all you got is no signal to pull some one over usually is because they couldn't come up with something else.

I would bet that the cop only pulled the lambo over cause he was fishing for something bigger like drugs or dwi.
