Drivers we hate

Post any other stories/vids about crappy drivers that give you road rage. This was tonight. Guy popped out with nobody behind me just to slow down and turn a few seconds later? jerk.

Lucky you have those sport brakes :)

TreeSemdyZee 04-06-2011 10:37 PM

I feel ya Eazy. Believe it or not, this same thing happened to me NUMEROUS times this evening. F***king Kentuckiana drivers. Get off the F**ckin' cellphones.

shadoquad 04-06-2011 10:47 PM

indecisive, quick lane changes with no turn signal. That's what kills me. If someone signals, I'll 95% of the time let them over. If you try and just take the lane, it's about 35% of the time.

shadoquad 04-06-2011 10:56 PM

Also hate people who follow too closely. I've noticed that in my area, tailgating is an epidemic. At least when I'm in the Z, I can lose them as soon as the road bends enough, but in my DD, I have to slow down. I'm not going to have some idiot flying into my back bumper because they rode my azz and then we had to brake at the drop of a dime.

370zproject 04-07-2011 01:05 AM

wow good reaction!..

cfweber 04-07-2011 07:56 AM

I love a parade NOT

it's the inept driver in the left lane driving alongside

the nimrod in the center lane

both pacing the woman on the cellphone in the slow lane

3 across

with traffic backing up behind them

wide open road ahead and no way around

Dark Sarcasm 04-07-2011 08:00 AM

I was passing a Black Mercedes Benz SUV the other day before my lane ended. They sped up and wouldnt let me over, to the point where he had to slam on their brakes to keep from hitting the car in front of him/her. I didnt even see him come up next to me at first. I/they are lucky i didnt swerve over and hit them.

Zaggeron 04-07-2011 08:02 AM

To paraphrase Sartre: Hell is other drivers.

^This. Gotta love when people create rolling roadblocks. I never understood why the concept is so difficult to understand. If you are moving slower than the average pace of traffic, stay in the right lane(s).

WestCo Scott 04-07-2011 10:45 AM

I think Cali is horrible at this^

On a side note..
I was riding to work today on the bike in the second slow lane of the freeway as my merge was coming up, there was a camry in the fast lane and clear otherwise. So he jerks left then right and slams the brakes on, right in front of me. So me going 75 and him going 35 it wasn't looking so good to me with no exits on either side of me. I braked and went to the right of the lane while he is still slowing down when I got to the maximum brake limit I still got a half a tire past his bumper on the right side. When i looked back everyone on the freeway had stopped (thinking I was going to die) and at this point we were going 25mph. I pulled next to the car and it was an old man with his hands up off the wheel looking at me like "I don't know"..

WHHHAAAAAA?????

NewlyIMPORTed 04-07-2011 11:09 AM

I hate all minivan's either they go to slow or they are driving fast and cutting me off..

cuz those ppl drive in a zombie state lol they really don't pay attention to the road or those around them and that's why accidents happen :shakes head:

SPOHN 04-07-2011 05:03 PM

When people don't use blinkers at a four way. Or use blinkers and the brakes at the same time to turn so sudden.

Haha I was thinking "I wonder if the epidemic is spreading... oh"

Carno 04-07-2011 06:52 PM

What's part 2? Where you do a u turn, catch up to him a half mile down the road and slit his throat?

Hey come on, where's the spoiler alert? :roflpuke2:

LunaZ 04-08-2011 05:55 PM

The one I love to hate is "the creeper".
You know, the person who keeps inching up past the line at an intersection well before the light turns green. Or maybe they've stopped a whole car length or more ahead of the line and the sign that says "STOP HERE ON RED".

This one is a cop!

http://www.the370z.com/members/lunaz...marked-cop.jpg

What I really enjoy is watching drivers wanting to make a left turn get stuck at the light because they've pulled up beyond the sensors that trigger the left turn arrow light.
I get a special joy in that. I'll even go out of my way and not turn left at that particular intersection if I see a creeper ahead of me.

The ones that keep inching up at the light until they're nearly in the intersection, then when the light turns NEVER even get up to the speed limit.

Or the ones that have the slow reaction to when the light turns green after inching up at the light. They act like they're gonna go as soon as the light changes and when it does, they just sit there like idiots :shakes head:

Similar to when your sitting at a red light 10 cars back and everyone keeps inching up the hole time the light is red. Just pull up to the car in front of you and stop.

One of the things that absolutely gets my blood boiling is how badly many cops abuse traffic laws. Every other cop I see cruising around is talking on their cell phone, speeding, not using their signals, and the trend that they seem to like stop light racing by hitting the gas and brakes like an on off switch.

And yet they are the ones responsible for pulling people over for those very offenses. When they are not responding to a call, they must follow the law like everyone else.

blue660r01 04-08-2011 09:00 PM

You're really going to complain about a cop "speeding"? How do you know they're not responding to a call?

I'll definitely give them that.
I'll also give them the benefit of the doubt because they need to type on a laptop, text or talk on their cell and use their radio while driving, so who am I to expect that they use turn signals, or stay in their lane? Have I been sideswiped by a cop? No, but that's because I wasn't on my cell and I was alert enough to get out of his way.
I hate drivers who are texting or using their handheld in general. I also hate people who don't signal or stay in their lane, and I really hate people who chop off the apex of turns on a bend or in an intersection.
Cops, if anything, should be setting an example for the laws they enforce. If they're responding to a call, they should have their lights on so we can get out of their way, especially on a busy multiple lane road in the business district.

LULz, exactamundo. If they are on a call and must speed or otherwise drive erratically, they should have their lights on.

SPOHN 04-10-2011 11:41 AM

I hate it when people drive in the ran with there lights off and better yet with there hazards on. WTF!

i'm getting road rage just reading this thread.

SPOHN 04-10-2011 03:43 PM

I wish more people would use cruise control on the interstate. All this speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down mess. Especially in our cars. Everyone is trying to see what it is or prove a point to get in front of you.

LunaZ 04-11-2011 06:51 PM

Being backed up on 95 South out of D.C. reminded me of another one I hate.
People who swerve onto the shoulder as they're slamming on their brakes for stopped traffic.
I will spare you the rant and why this is wrong.

bigaudiofanat 04-11-2011 09:29 PM

Cops that talk on cell phones.

Riced out illegal cars "it's a Bridgeton NJ thing" trying to race or be as annoying as possible.

Anyone talking on the phone without a headset.

Cocky teenagers that tailgate a 14 year old car for 3 miles because they want to be an a$$.

People that make right turns on a light that says no right turns on red. Or honk at me for not turning on red.

People that are texting while I am on a bike and almost get hit by them. I flip them off and let them know it.

I could go on and on.

Austin 04-22-2011 01:07 PM

I hate the guy that doesn't merge into the one lane that is open, rather he drives all the way to the merge spot then gets furious when I won't let him in.

And the non blinker users.

:iagree: I hate that crap. Or how about when you're forced to use the #2 lane to go around the slow car only to see them finally pull over when you pass? Why!? WHY?
