So long story short i sold rims to some guy around 3 months ago. They were near mint and came with tires that were bald in back and perfect tires in front... He had his car lowered and fenders not rolled and the rims he bought from me were rubbing.. So just today he somehow has my number and txts me saying "he wants his money back and hell give me my rims back because he scratched the rim and the front tires have massive camber wear and thats not what he thought would happen or some BS" saying he remembers were i live and all this BS
all i could tell him was leave me the **** alone and dont come anywere near here... and your not getting your money back because 1 its been 3 months and 2 you ****** the rims up yourself...

What do i do? change my number? what would you do? hes one of those worthless mexican dudes, im not scared of him but i dont wanna be harassed since my family lives here aswell...

Report the harassment to the local PD. Beyond that, not much you can do besides sleep with a weapon.

Probably wouldn't have been as rude but stayed firm in your position. You don't want to provoke him. If anything you want to see if he'll actually issue a threat that you can report.

This sounds more like something that will go away depending on his distance to you and how you react. I would definitely alert local PD that there could be a situation with this guy. Other than that there's really nothing you can do.

Get the history going right now.

If he threatened you and you have proof on the text get a restraining order. That way it makes it illegal for him to be anywhere near you.

It is an implied threat, and worth reporting.

Having dealt with these situations before, it is extremely helpful to build a history before anything happens. That way if he shows up at your house and you knock him out, there's much less chance of you being legally prosecuted.

Guess there's no harm in trying, but in my experience, until something actually happens the police don't do squat.

They will do nothing, but you need to build the history.

but he has like 50 holsters so its all good. Once he's done missing the target's he can put the gun away in one of 5 places.

And honestly, having a safe place to store your guns is the best possible defense.

Talk it out calmly of he calls again. Your not obligated to take the wheels back, moreso now that they are damaged. "Your break it, you buy it" Did you get this guy's name or phone number? Was it a forum member?

ive been ignoring him hes just been hitting my phone up with racial comments and small threats.. i own a ak47 i dont need protection lol... but he was even calling up till 3am..
so i reported it this morning and they said for now they cant do anything and to just be cautious<= if thats how u spell it.. and if it keeps going on to get a restraining order

this is why you get yourself a google voice account, and meet up in public locations to sell your goods. also, always put "ALL SALES FINAL, NO REFUNDS" in your posts. with google voice, you can later decide to block him so he cant contact you anymore, and you should always meet in a public location no matter what!

On the bright side, people who are going to do something generally just do it, they don't keep crank calling you to announce it, so he's probably all talk.
