In a news release issued Thursday, President Morton Schapiro says he believes Professor John Michael Bailey showed “extremely poor judgment” in allowing the students of his human sexuality class to see the graphic demonstration involving a sex toy.

The incident took place on Feb. 21. A guest speaker was discussing bondage and other sexual fetishes and asked if any students would like to see a live demonstration after the class was over.

According to published reports, about 100 students stayed to watch the demonstration.

I remember there was a big issue at the University of Maryland (where I currently go to school) when they wanted to screen a porn film for some class. I believe the screening was to be held outside of class, but still on campus. People found out and made a whole big issue out of it. I think they did end up screening it though, but i'm not completely sure.

I would have stayed as long as the performer/volunteer was a hot female. Education is best taught by showing how things are done.
