Don't forget that this car needs interior work and paint, so being a collector car it is going to need a $10K paint job and a full interior makeover. If she really spent $22K in repair bills her mechanic has taken her for one hell of a ride.

The mechanic convinced her the junky VW that she had was a collectors item and with $20k worth of work it would sell for a whole lot more.
