Meet Riley. New addition to the family. Rhodesian ridgeback and Shepard mix, or so they say at the humane society.

Here are my labs Lilah and Bugatti. I was never a dog person growing up, but after 5 years with my girls I couldn't imagine life otherwise. Coming home from work and seeing them there waiting for me at the door is the best moment of my day!

Thanks! :tiphat:

Wish I could say it was planned but really what happened was Lilah nearly gave me a heart attack that day. I was installing my stereo and ran inside for a drink and when I came out she was nowhere to be found...there's not a lot of places for her to hide on my property and the whole thing is fenced in. I was going back and forth from inside to outside the house calling her name and not getting an answer...finally I just caught her out of the corner of my eye when I walked past the car. I'm still not sure how she managed to wiggle down in the footwell...she's a 75lb lab and the drivers side door was closed!

I couldn't be mad though. She's got a great disposition and obviously just wanted to go for a ride in the Z!

Sarah and I are going to be getting a puppy come late July/early August. We are going on Sunday (don't worry, before the game) to check out a breeder.

Everything going well, this would be the dad:

And this would be the mom:

Dad is a big dog:

So we went to the breeder this weekend. After seeing the dogs (they have 13 females and one male) we put a deposit down on a male from the same dad but this female:

We really loved the colouring she has. They had a boy there who was just under a year that came from those two and he had just amazing colouring!

The other thing that changed was timing. Looks like we will be getting a little guy around the end of May rather then they late July/Early August we had wanted however, the breeder is going to have three litters this year. Two a week apart in May and the other in late June. We are getting married June 22nd so that wouldn't work. If we waited we would have to wait until Feb next year....

We want to go with this breeder as my dad got two German Shepherds from them over 30 years ago!

Cant Wait!!!

Definitly a dog lover at heart. Seeing the Shepard above always makes me laugh because of the mutant dog I have. He is a German Shepard/Corgi mix from what we can tell.

Those of you who went to ZDayZ last year probably saw either myself or my wife walking him around.

This was taken when he was about 8 months old. He is about a year old now. Only weighs about 30 lbs now.

Even made it into our little recap clip for ZDayz LOL...Z1 Motorsports: ZDayZ 2012 on Vimeo
