Black out tags
 

I was wondering why when people post pics of there car why they black out there tags? Obviously people see there tags when there normaling driving around. What's the difference. Maybe it's something I'm not thinking of.

I best reason I can think is because some people think that the car can not be track to be stolen is the license is blacked out..

However, they can see the car on the street write the license plate down and even the VIN and track the car.

If they want your car they are going to get it, unless you have a good alarm or tracking device.
