interesting how alot of people bitch about the gov forcing health insurance but no one talks about forcing car insurance...

that aside.. what if your filthy rich and can show you have millions in your bank.. does that count as "financial responsibility"?

TreeSemdyZee 01-07-2011 11:46 PM

Yikes. Come on out to the Midwest. Plenty of room and much cheaper.

Junior370z 01-07-2011 11:58 PM

The second offense for disabled parking, $1876?!? Wow that's crazy!

Funny how many uninsured drivers cannot afford an insurance policy, but they will be more than able to pay an $800 ticket.

Yay for CA making up their budget deficit, it has to happen someway! Honestly though, it seems like every other car has a driver holding a cell phone to their ears or running a red light or coasting through a stop sign and yet I have yet to see any of them pulled over. Then again, I can see why when cops do the same thing during non emergency situations where they are to be abiding by all the same traffic laws.

:shakes head: ^ These should be $1480 or more

And reduce these to $25.00!!VC 22349 $214 Unsafe speed, 1 to 15 miles over the
limit. VC 22350 $328 Unsafe speed, 16 to 25 miles over the
limit.

^ ugh, time to go find me a front license plate bracket.

i agree though anything regarding wireless devices should be like 2k plus. it took me 3 hours to go home today because i got stuck in traffic behind accidents. rear end collisions, etc...watched a brand new porsche cayenne (ugly yes i know) get rear ended by someone talking on a cell phone.

the cops can make BANK at the nearby high school tho. these f*ckers don't know how to drive. they just blast through the stop sign without even slowing down anymore!

They(police)get lazy, the cities are missing out on a lot of revenue! Also, many departments only have a few officers are trained and certified to use radar! "Calif Highway Patrol doesn't have that problem though"!

christian370z 01-08-2011 11:29 AM

I agree completely Paul, it seems like every single car I look at has a driver either looking in their laps, holding a cell phone to their ears, or blatantly texting.

I almost got run over by some people who blew through a stop sign on my island so I rode my bike over to the local Newport police department and told them they could make up their entire budget deficit by nabbing all the people who don't even slow down for stop signs. 15 minutes later, there were two motorcycle cops pulling people over. I should have received a kick back!

PapoZalsa 01-08-2011 01:47 PM

WOW, I thought the Republic of VA was bad. Yeap, that is one way to fix the CA deficit!

c41006 01-08-2011 02:02 PM

My list of reasons why not to move to California just got a little longer

David@UAMotorsports 01-08-2011 02:10 PM

Yet another page full of reasons why cali sucks! That is unbeleivable and down right shocking. I feel so bad for you guys.

TongMan 04-08-2011 08:56 AM
