Going into withdrawal

Had to put the car away about a month ago for winter and I am already going into withdrawal.

I WANT MY 370Z BACK!!!

Even worse is I am not going to mod it any over the winter due to multiple reasons.

VABAM 12-19-2010 03:12 AM

I am sorry for you two. To slacker370z If you can not mod now, how about putting on acrylic, wax etc. in multiple layers giving it a wet look. You will be connecting to your auto and have the best looking Z around come spring. Just a thought.:santasleigh2:

i went for a drive last night with my dunlop wintersport m3's it was awesome but some salt got on the car and then it ate through the paint and the engine block and the car corroded so badly that the wheel feel off while i was driving.

but yea, sorry to hear, if i couldn't drive my Z for even a week i'd be in withdrawal

schrack150 12-19-2010 11:25 AM

We have had some pretty nasty weather here as well. We had a short break in the weather so I got to take mine out for a Walmart run.. I wanted to drive it so bad I moved 4 cars just to get it out of the garage.

There is a solution to this! Winter wheels and tires. I just got a set for my Mustang and am so glad I get to enjoy it throughout the year. I really wish I bought a set for my 370 when I had it... I hated having to put it up when it snowed.

This coming from someone who traded in his Z. He must be taking medication for his withdrawal. :shakes head: Poor lil fella. :p

So what? I still would have liked to have driven it in the snow.

puckshaw 12-22-2010 11:19 AM

I just got back to my Z after a 9 week business trip :) Man I missed driving it! Looks like I'll be leaving for another 3 months in January though

slacker370z 12-22-2010 01:52 PM

Since I dont like letting salt sit on my car for weeks at a time and I dont have a place to wash it indoors I won't drive it untill its above freezing again. Some salt would be an understatement here. Less then a mile and my black car would be dirty white. Not to mention rock chips from the boulders they like to salt the roads with here.

The Cr-v I am driving is fun for awd drifts but a little slower the the Z.

JollyGoodChap 12-22-2010 02:01 PM

Do something like this, it's almost like driving the 370!

YouTube - Supra and Civic sounds...by mouth!

slacker370z 12-22-2010 02:32 PM

I was for a short time thinking about throwing a supercharger on the cr-v.
