My Feet STINK!!
Damn it, I have not slept for 2 days, had to pull 24 hour duty on base, I came home afterwards showered and scrubbed these dragons....but still smells like sweat factory....:confused: I think I will just let them soak in scoulding hot water until the flesh peels off, maybe it will smell like burnt chicken, which is still better then a sweat shop.:icon23:

You need to change socks during the 24 hr duty and put some Powder to suck the sweet. Also if you have the time remove your boots to get your feets/socks some air and carry and additional pair of clean socks.

Depends what you eat too, sometimes you sweat stinky stuff like garlic and lentils which can be rather nasty. If you soak your feet add a cap full of distilled vinegar to the water, you can also rub some in directly. If you have a second pair of boots rotate them so they get to air out.

this was the last thread i read befor ei went to bed.. coincidence?? |
Thanks for the advice guys, I been in the Army 14 years now, I just needed a reminder haven't had my dogs stink this bad since Iraq that was in 06, yeah I can't sleep much, these docs say it's because I got severe PTSD but I think it's a combo of pain from the inside of my hip being torn from my leg and my back....as well as anxiety and I always feel like I am being watched, anywho good advice I def like the vinegar water trick, I only use one pair of boots way more comfortable then a brand new pair, but I am going to air them out over the weekend, I scrubbed my feet this morning again and bad order is gone now:)
