youre telling me! :( im like soooo mad/upsettt i could scream.. um well what happened wassss.. this morning i came home and my dad came in my room and was like 'someone hit your car' and i went yea right and hes like 'no someone hit the passenger side' so i ran outside and here up by the passenger front it looks like someone scratched it. :( so now i gotta go get it fixed and i mean i didnt go anywhere yesterday except at nite i went to my friends house and you have to park on the street and my pass side is the side that was out to the street so thats the only thing that couldve happened bc ive been like 10x EXTRA cautious since i didnt want my NEW freakin car to get hit or anything and now look :(

as far as pics go.. ill take some tomorrow if its nice. but you have to be up close to the car to see it its not like huge which is good but still someone freakin hti my new car.

Man that's sucks to hear. Can it be buffed out? Ya working tomm? I'll be shore so if you wanna stop by and show me the car. This way I can see how bad the damage is. I hate people who don't care about other people's property. Couple months back, this black Escalade bumped my car as he was leaving his street parking spot. He didn't even stop to see if he did any damage to my car  . I had a small scratch.

sorry to hear about that, if its just transfer paint from the other car or a surface scratch you can use Quixx: Click on the video.

ConsumerReports.org - Scratch removers: Tips, Ratings, car paint, car scratch repair, auto scratch remover, and car wax

If its a deep one all the way to the base coat, then buy a touch up paint from here:

getBMWparts.com powered by Tischer BMW - Your #1 Source for all OEM BMW Parts/Accessories!

then use langka to soften the blob:

LANGKA Paint Chip and Scratch Repair

I have extra langka if you decide to go that route. let me know.:hello:

I WOULD! I would never leave a scene of accident. If I ever scratch someones car, I'd leave a note on the windshield. Let me just put it this way, I am a big believer of "Karma" ;)

alefcole 11-18-2008 12:02 PM

Since its a long scratch and basically transfer color from the others car paint, I will personally use Quixx. For 25 bucks see how it ends. If you remove the other vehicle paint, may be you can live with that "scar". Make sure to apply some sort of sealant to avoid corrosion.

The other option is to fix and paint both doors and may be the entire side to avoid mismatches in the paint. The stealership will charge you a lot $1000 may be?. I will just live it it.

The wheel can be painted easily by you, but believe me there will be plenty of scratches to come. Just google "german car wheel paint" and see whats available.

You have an alpine white car just like mine. I already have the BMW touch up paint and langka. If you want me to give it a shot let me know. I will have to see it after quixx have remove the other car transfer, for areas that are showing the base "silver color" its a good way to soften the damage.

I told her to leave the wheels alone because she'll get scratches anyway.

they are very fast. One of guy at my work drives a white.
can't imagine how it would be when Launch control is used.
although i hear Nissan might ditch this because of so many people not know how to properly launch thus damaging their tranny

nogoodname 12-09-2008 04:38 PM

^^ they are removing it b/c it is a automatic void warranty when you use it.......

some GT-R's have a little Japanese guy pop up on the screen laughing at you b/c you just void the warranty
