was out tonight driving the wife around town when we spotted a blue Z coming up behind us and behold it was a sport convertible. so eventually we are next to each other at a light and i keep looking over trying to make eye contact, to signal a hello and this total douchebag who is probably about my age is obviously ignoring me and staring straight, he has a male passenger that i was next to and the passenger at least looked over once but completely tuned away after that. I guess that is snobbish S. FL for you. what a couple of total douches..:icon14:

wow.. that's a shame! Same thing happen to me before but with a GTR driver. I came to a stoplight right next a RHD GTR. I was so freakin' excited. As MC told me, ONLY 3 RHD GTRs are in the USA. I told him very excitedly, " Dude, nice GTR :tup:" He turned his head and gave me a douche nod (annoyingly),"thanks bro". He then turned back to his car and just drove away. :shakes head:

If the guy decides to rev it on you, or peel out at the light? That qualifies him for the Douche title! Not because he didn't acknowledge you.

No mods.. i think these guys maybe play on the same team. I was driving in chill mode cuz if i open the throttle a lil bit I get a loud "Danny!" from my other half.

well he did accelerate to pass me on my left only to get to the red light before me, and shortly after we were next to each other at that light.

You guys shouldn't be so offended when they don't look over or give you a funny look. I know it's no Ferrari but sometimes I feel self conscious driving the z and I try to look straight ahead. Sometimes I look over and I'm sure my expression looks more confused than happy, but I mean no harm.

If I was driving around in one I would acknowledge everyone, ricers I would acknowledge but not race.

Thats part of the game danny, u know this.

Theres cool car dudes that will tell u to pull over and chat and then theres douches like you saw tn.

I wouldn't take offense. It's guys like that who are missing out on the community aspect of owning a nice car.

Last night, a modded G35 passed me on the highway. He pulled next to me for a minute, lingered, revved, and passed. So, I got behind him, sped up, and followed him a ways. When he took his exit, we exchanged a wave.

Car enthusiasts are out there.

I think we as Nissan owners should feel a sense of pride when driving our cars. NO matter which model or year of Nissan it is. The problem is that everyone is against everyone else when it comes to the car scene. I always hear they have better this, they have newer that. Just be happy to be driving. We should make it more like a Nissan brother/sisterhood. Respect others and they will respect you.

OMFG The guy didn't give you any attention. What a f*cking a**hole!!! Give me a break, maybe he just had other **** on his mind and wasn't thinking that the guy next to him's ego is so big that he needs to be acknowledged by anyone driving the same car as him.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but whatever. I like the friendly nods and waves, but some of you get your panties in a wad and act like you have been disrespected because you weren't waved at.
