uhh, yeah, pretty much. only thing i'd add to that is that there are different legs of the race, and the lowest contenders of each leg have to compete in some vehicle challenge to get to keep going.

If it keeps going the way it's going, it will be the first lexus ever.

So do they at least break the law by street racing?

You get penalized for speeding if someone makes a big deal out of it. It's more about finding the location than speeding. You can't have anything but a paper map, so it comes down to navigating.

Back in the day I never had a gps, just a map and never had any trouble finding places. Funny that this is now a game show.. :)

I'm still going to watch it, just need to get the Speed channel back.

You had to drive through the fence. The fence was the finish line. But they were supposed to turn as soon as they got out, and they didn't.
I think they said the reason they kept going straight was because they figured planning for the turn would slow them time. So going straight would give them a .0-whatever advantage.

So who pays for the cars? Are they real ppl with their own cars or are they type casted drivers that get a car?

I'm sure it's their own cars but they must be getting sponsored... well, the smarter owners...lol
