Making out in public
 

I just want to get a general opinion of what is accepted in public by society. I was having a conversation with my girlfriend about gay couples making out in public. She stated that it was uncomfortable to her and that it should not be allowed. I disagreed with her and stated that, while in public, people have the right to do whatever they want as long as it was not illegal. So this brings me to ask you guys what you think about this topic.

I think a little making out is fine. What Drew Barrymore referred to as "church tongue" in the wedding singer. But aggressive making out is inappropriate, regardless of your sexual orientation.

Unless you're hot lesbians, in which case it's exactly the opposite. You should be making out, groping each other, finger-banging, the whole lot ... in public.

Eh, I'd rather see two people making out than beating the sh!t out of each other. Prefer to see M/W or two chicks kissing than two dudes, but otherwise, make love not war :tup:

Shouldn't be allowed? Your girlfriend isn't a nazi, is she? ;)

People heavily making out is distasteful and dudes making out is really gross (:barf:), but that's no reason it should be banned.

There is only one sensible way to decide this, I have to make out with your girlfriend in public, so she gets the full on experience and can make a better informed decision.

So in summary, it seems that as horny males prefer to see "hot lesbians" go at it, while couples and especially gay males are discriminated.

Naw, I don't particularly care to see straight couples go at it. I didn't see any discrimination towards the gays.

It depends on setting, too. I mean, in a touristy area or around kids, holding hands, hugging, light pecks, that's about as far as it needs to go. In a bar, movie, club, go a little wilder. Why not?
