New ipods and new apple tv
 

Very very cool new stuff. I just wish they came out with a 200gb ipod classic.:D

Oh well take a look at the new ipod mini, nano, touch and apple tv.

Bah humbug, I just bought a Sony MP3 Walkman for 1/3 the price of that bloody iPod I hate Apple and iTunes lol

To each there own I love them. The only thing I do not like about the new nanos is there is no port you can use from a head unit.

Yeah they're nice, but my Sony does everything the iPod does for 1/3 the price I love money more lol

Too small! Dock is a proprietary connector! My Sony has a simple USB connection, and it's not tethered to iTunes! Windows Media Player FTW!

Ya right windows media can not organize your music for crap. You can not find anything in there. I have over 7k songs and can find a song in under 3 seconds.

Just watched the whole event video, it's a nice refresh of the products.

The HDR photo capability should be interesting once it's released.

I dunno. I was always a fan of organzing my music myself. iTunes is nice for a library starting from scratch (such as my new laptop), but for one that's been around for a while, it just doesn't work, imo.

Does your Sony work with the 2009 or 2010 OEM Navigation?

I actually use J River Media Center to rip to MP3 and organize my files, then just use iTunes to sync MP3s to iPod Classic for in-car use, or Media Center to send files to CompactFlash card. Think I'll put Christmas Music on the CF since I don't like it on the iPod (too many artists added).

I would say that my collection of over 300 cds is not small neither is my neighbors collection of over 700 cd's. As I said to each there own.

My neighbors just made different playlist and one for holiday and one without Tran Siberian Orchestra Holiday and so on.

Maybe this explains why Apple couldnt give me any response today to all the hacked itunes accounts that their trying to deny are happening. I was taken for 6000 bucks.

When did I ever say anything about the size of library? Mine dwarfs 300 CDs, so do explain your point.

My point is that I have all of that organized on my own before itunes was available on PC, and its way of organizing doesn't work with my sys well (mainly tags and crap).

You are correct, though. To each their own :P

The playlist doesn't really help anything. I rarely want to listen to random songs out of my collection.

I'm ordering the new nano right now! My old one took a crap after two years, it was my own fault. It's seen literally HUNDREDS of miles of running etc worked great till It took a bath in the ocean. It actually still plays music, just the screen is shot.

Nice I am tempted to get that nano.

Oh yea well I just picked up the latest 8 track unit for my Z, so screw all your fancy electronic gizmos. :ughdance:
