Eh, I loved the concept, but the production model is "okay." Not as much of a looker as the camaro. They are both bloated pigs though.

I actually think the Challenger looks better than the Camaro. The Camaro interior is horrible.

Are you messin' with me? :icon14:

Just kidding, different strokes

Lemers 07-10-2010 09:39 PM

Nothing special in either. At least the dodge has a nav option

m4a1mustang 07-10-2010 09:41 PM

The Dodge interior looks more conventional. It's very bland, though.

The interior on the Camaro is just flat ugly. Very odd. They tried too hard to go retro/modern with it.

I do agree with Tin. I came very very very close to buying an R/T Challenger

Lemers 07-10-2010 09:43 PM

I thought they sacraficed interior quality for outside looks

shadoquad 07-10-2010 09:45 PM

When I test drove the Camaro, the interior was falling apart already. Sure, it could just be that one car, but still :ugh:

Fixed :roflpuke2:

No, they haven't fixed that interior. Not even this guy could...

Lemers 07-10-2010 09:50 PM

No unionized workers had no imagination and just used the parts bin

fullmonty 07-10-2010 09:51 PM

If the Camaro was legit, you bet General Washington would be driving that shat

Lemers 07-10-2010 09:55 PM

I think George Washington would trade in the Challenger for the 5.0 mustang

I don't think either are great, but I hate the Camaro interior. The Challenger is just sort of bland. I think the interior will be the biggest change in the Camaro refresh.

:iagree:

Instead, freakin' Horatio Gates was cruising around in the SS. :shakes head:

I heard the car did break down in Camden, though. :bowrofl:

frost 07-10-2010 10:00 PM

Don't get me wrong, I think they both suck. I would just give the camaro the slight advantage in looks. Of course, winning a contest between those two cars is like winning the special olympics ...

m4a1mustang 07-10-2010 10:01 PM

Honestly, I wouldn't mind having either one (SS or SRT-8). I think they would be awesome cruisers.

Pushing_Tin 07-10-2010 10:02 PM

I'd still take the Mustang.......

Pfft, if the commercial was historically accurate they would've had a bunch of black dudes driving the Americans around in Bentleys until halfway through the commercial when Peugot would drive up and then George Washington would flip out and jump into a Challenger, driving into the sea.

AMERICA

edit:

also there would be fireworks

also I test drove the Camaro after sitting in the 370 for the first time and walked away. I can't stand the retro gauges at all. They are terrible to read and gimmicky. Also the seating positing was bad. And the shifter felt like a toy.

With that said, a black Challenger with tinted windows and obnoxious wheels would be the best cruise vehicle ever.
