Hulu Plus is Real: $10/Month for iPhone, iPad and TV Viewing

My wife and I are dumping our cable TV and moving to Hulu on the iPad, which to date pisses me off as the iPad is so shackled when it comes to real business situations. Oh well, it makes for an expensive email reader.

This is just one more item to get me to buy an iPad and drop cable.
Netflix plus Hulu Plus gives me 90% of my media from cable & movies, only thing I am missing is sporting events (soccer, racing, etc.) but that will come. Now if only Apple would release OS4 for the iPad so I can say it is worth it finally. :tup:

To add more to this, Hulu is hitting all the major markets (within the next 6 months).
PS3, Xbox, Internet based TVs, Blu-ray players, etc. I almost have no need for my HTPC soon also with the way TVs are supporting out of the box web page media.

Well when I refer to the MLS I say soccer, but for the World Cup it is football. :tup:

I have over air HD antenna+Mac min in my media closet. So I get almost everything.

Ooo, forgot about over air HD, well it might be time to cut the line. :tup:

360+Netflix
Mac Mini + XBMC
Over Air HD antenna
2 Terabyte External HD

My plan (next year):
~Internet based TV (Hulu, Netflix, etc.)
~PS3 (Blu-ray & gaming)
~HTPC (Blu-ray & Over the air connection)

Only thing I need to this setup is an internet based TV and set up my over the air connection. Though, no TV has really wowed me yet to buy into.

I really like it to watch local news, and major sports. But almost 90% of my media is streamed.
