Dented wife brand new SUV!

Damn, I live in a cul de sac and the space is tight. Backing up her SUV I didn't see the damn big a$$ plastic trash can that was behind my pick up and hit it. Didn't see it truth the mirrors since the vehicle is high and dented the hatch.

My fault, now I got it get it fix. The SUV is only like a month old.

I'm going to see if a dent place can fix it.

FLAME SUIT ON!!!

nolan1016 06-15-2010 08:33 PM

Damn does she actually love it like loving a z? I drove dented my gfs car once and she didn't even care.

Hell, just screw the trash can to the dent, so it's covered-up, and call it an aftermarket accessory...problem solved!

Mike 06-15-2010 08:59 PM

as a woman, will she even notice?

fullmonty 06-15-2010 08:59 PM

Better her SUV than your Z

Do you not have the little convex mirrors on the SUV? If you can't see a trash can, you won't see a child on a trike!

("Do not miss under stand me", "I am in no way slamming you"!)

shadoquad 06-15-2010 09:17 PM

For some reason, I read the thread title as "Dented wife... Brand new SUV" and thought, "win win!"

jk ;)

No, no convex mirrors if you talking the one for the side blind spots.

It was on the blind spot of the hatch because of the height of the SUV.

NO bro, I understand!

The one instance were a Rear View Camera would have paid for itself..
Sorry to hear what happened.

Don't worry, the car can withstand a child.. They don't really leave any dents...

frost 06-15-2010 10:19 PM

Blame her. If you act mad enough, I bet she will think she did it.

You should tell her you backed into your kid, but they are fine. She'd be so worked up over the child, she wont even notice the dent. You'd have to live knowing you did it, but isn't that why the good lord came up with Jack Daniels?

I'll get it fix, a Dent Dr. or the insurance will do it.

I read this wrong.....

"Dented wife brand new SUV!"

I mistakenly took "Dented" for "Impregnated" and because of that you needed to get a new SUV. Silly me.......

:p Seriously, tho....hope ya get'er fixed (the SUV, of course)!

Well at list the week finished in a good note!

Called the Dent Doctor during the week and today he came and fixed the dent for $75. No sign of any damage, like new again.

The guy did great work and real friendly!
