Don't worry, the worst has passed. It'll only get better from this point on. Unless you get a dry socket, but I don't think you have much to worry about if you follow their instructions.

Good move on going ahead and getting all 4 removed at the same time.

ah.. thanks. I don't feel like I'm the only one. Yes, 4 at once was a good idea. I def can't see myself going through this again. I'm going to follow the instructions as much as I can.

Quick question, should I brush my teeth tonight?

if you can with a brand new toothbrush, you wouldn't want introduce any bacteria from you're existing brush since it's been air drying from the last use. Just a precaution.

But you can't vigorously swish any liquid or spit the way you normally would with listerine, as it may break loose any clotting. So swish it gently then just kind of, open your mouth and let it fall out into the sink.

flashburn 05-18-2010 09:53 PM

Yeah, I think I just did salt water, but I don't remember. Skipping brushing just for the night would probably be fine.

frost 05-18-2010 09:55 PM

No using straws either, or anything else you may suck O_o for the same reason. You may dislodge the clot.

dad 05-18-2010 09:57 PM

AK, if you in any pain, just think of naked women and pu$$y, it will ease the pain!

Yea, I've beat him up about being careful with the clotting, no sucking, no straws, no spitting, no vigorous swishing. My mom had hers out later in life, when I was about 10 years old, so I remember it well ......... she developed a dry socket........... that was a living hell

My earliest memory is also 3, an event where I got my backside smacked by my great grand mother for not listening to her and being, well a 3 year old lol. I have a memories from age 4 to 5, and from 6 on they are numerous and normal. This varies from individual to individual I presume?

I'm a neat freak when it comes to my teeth. My teeth are brushed and flossed twice a day (regularly). I may brush the front and use the use "frost's" method for the sides.

My Dad brushes and flosses like you, and he has all his teeth still in great condition at age 79, so keep it up, it works

I'd have to turn the Hangover off, or I'd be doing damage from all the laughing :p

yes, I remember my early days clearly. Which is weird because if you ask me what I did last week, i probably can't tell you. But ask me all my teachers name or classmates name or what we used to do everyday during 3rd -4th grade, I can tell you day by day:icon17:. Very weird. I think it just takes long time for my brain to store data. but once it does, its golden

I know I shouldn't watch hangover :bowrofl:!

Just saw this scene, "Do you really have to park this close? I shouldn’t be here. I’m not supposed to be within 200 feet of a school. Or a Chuck E. Cheese.”- Alan :icon17:

frost 05-18-2010 10:21 PM

I thought it was funny, but there was SO much hype that it couldn't possibly live up to it.

True, why I wasn't expecting much, and for free on HBO was pleasantly surprised (well, not totally free, I have to pay for directv :p )
