It was awesome! Feedback?

NewlyIMPORTed 05-07-2010 12:58 PM

loved it i have a man crush and if tony stark was a 5 out of ten from the first movie now hes a 10/10 haha it was funny and the action was good

Chupacabra 05-07-2010 01:04 PM

For argument sake... how does tony go from 5/10 on the first one to 10/10 on this one???

is it the whole one liner parts, or the action scenes filmed 2.3 miles away.

NewlyIMPORTed 05-07-2010 01:06 PM

well he was a 10/10 for the first one i was just saying for example he got that much cooler and idk the scene in the first one with the plains was way better than any action in this movie but as a character you learned more about him in this movie

I will probably go see it tonight.

That I will agree with you... you definitely get to know the personality of the characters ALOT better on this one... expect for hotel rwanda guy he just sucks.

action this one has more, but the first is just better done...

but that is where it dies for me...

too much one liners, to much National Treasure crap going on... and who ever came up with the sci-fi part of this one... never took a class in physics.

NewlyIMPORTed 05-07-2010 01:43 PM

haha yeah i agree. he garage scenes were kind of cheesy and taking terrance howard out of this one was a dumb idea

Well if he would stop being a baby then I am sure they would have kept him, but he kept bitching before they started shooting IM2 with demands and such so they dropped him. I hate when they change actors or actresses, but they can only do so much to make them (actors) happy.

The movie was alright. Certainly entertaining, and much better than the first one. I kind of wish that final battle had lasted longer than 30 seconds though.

Everyone played their parts really well, although I can't help but find Samual Jackson's portrayal of Nick Fury to be annoying. I'm not big into comics anymore, but to my understanding, some Marvel magic remodeled Nick to look like Mr. Jackson years ago. Did this include personality traits? Oh, and the guy they picked for Hammer was a perfect douchebag.

Overall, I give it 3 out of 4 stars.

^^^ I agree with the last battle, should have lasted longer...just a bit...

Xan 05-09-2010 08:48 PM

It took a while to get interesting... but the second half was good fun to watch!

I though it was pretty cool that his dad had encoded the element into the display. Also the first fight scene between war machine and a drunk iron man was awesome.

Actually, they went with Don Cheadle for the first one, but he turned it down, so then they went to Terrence Howard, and now he whined about how much he was getting, they let him go, and reapproached Don Cheadle, who after seeing how good the first one did, of course took the role.

But after seeing it myself now... I dunno, I won't give it 4 stars like the first one, it just didn't have as much plot development as the first 1. It was too predictable... I think the biggest takeaway for me was the fact Scarlet Johansson needs to stay with dark hair. That was pure win.

FuszNissan 05-09-2010 09:37 PM

I thought it was great. I would see it again.

pompey 05-09-2010 09:39 PM
