Almost bought an Ipad this morning.
 

So I went to Best buy this morning and fought the early morning crowd of people waiting in line for an Ipad. Each Best buy received like 20 Ipads, and they were first come first served. I got my pre-sale ticket, walked in and after playing around with it for about 20 min, decided its cool and all, like a little pocket tv, but no front camera is fail, and no flash support is just silly. I hate you Steve Jobs. I wanted to skype with it! I guess no naked skyping on my Ipad until they release version 2.. :mad: Sorry just venting.

As with all Apple products the first generation is simply for early adopters who are going to purchase one anyway. It is around the third generation of the product where Apple starts to get it right.

agreed, leave the first gen ALONE, its already having wi/fi problems, read the articles.

The iPad is a perfect example of the creation something for the sake of creating something.....in other words no real functional market need, just do it to do it....and the consumer suckers buy into it hook, line and sinker because they are trained to reflexively respond like a bunch of pathetic Pavlov dogs....

I agree completely, and I have to say I'm a total Apple Fanboy. Bought first gen Iphone like 3 years ago and every one since, macbook pros, imac, ugh...Although I managed to stay away today. Kinda proud of myself. Its basically just a giant ipod touch. You cant even make calls from it so wtf was Apple thinking on this one?

You know whats funny, thinking back today standing in line at BEst Buy, pretty much every person had starbucks. I had a white chocolate carmal machioatto with whipped cream! Frost are u following me?
