Left my wallet at home...

Sucks! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this.

I pulled into my parking space at work and my low fuel light came on. I figured I'd just fill up at lunch.

Get into my office and randomly reach into my pocket... no wallet! DAMNIT.

Thankfully one of my coworkers will loan me $5 at 100% compounded daily. Damnit.

vipor 02-01-2010 08:11 AM

Happens somewhat frequently to me. Well, I've gotten better about it now.

I'd rather leave my wallet somewhere than my phone, plus I always take out my wallet when I get in my car or get home or to work. Don't like sitting at an angle.

Then it's time to go home, or gotta run somewhere, and I forget it.

The thing that happens most is I go in somewhere like a store to buy something, and I've left my wallet in my car door. Always nice when you have to jog to your car when you weren't expecting to.

m4a1mustang 02-01-2010 08:22 AM

I feel primitive without my plastic!!!

Helpless too. If I need to buy anything I am going to have to use my knife.

vipor 02-01-2010 08:37 AM

I've probably got 10$ worth of change in my cup holder, so I'm covered for anything desperate like a couple gallons of gas.

m4a1mustang 02-01-2010 08:41 AM

Just got $10 from a coworker so I can cover gas and lunch.

vipor 02-01-2010 08:46 AM

You need to borrow from women so you can "owe them" ;)

m4a1mustang 02-01-2010 08:50 AM

Haha, I did. But I work in finance, so I owe her 100% compounded daily.

vipor 02-01-2010 08:54 AM

That's not what I meant lol

Haha, I have a girlfriend, but I did get the joke!

I just said that since we work in finance, I don't owe her... I owe her. In the cheesy way that financial people owe each other. With a ridiculous interest rate!

Rob@Altered 02-01-2010 09:19 AM

That's EXACTLY why I don't have a wallet. I always forget it. I just make a point to leave my money and credit cards out on my dresser every day so I see all of it before I leave and remember to bring what I need for the day.

Your only way out is to offer her one million dollars for one night with her husband

$5 will not take you too far. Hopefully you live near your workplace.

That's just about 2 gallons which is enough to get home.

mick 02-01-2010 10:41 AM

actually, this is one of the cool things about the 370z: it has a pretty large gas tank. with my last car, a mb c320, i had to fill up the gas every week. with the 370z, i only have to fill it up on the third week of driving.

tjlazer 02-02-2010 12:54 PM

Haha I've done that a few times. The problem with me tho is if I don't have my wallet, I can't get to my work. (Military) LOL So I have to drive back home to get it anyway. Sucks!

Gaiiden 02-03-2010 02:18 AM

the one time I forgot my wallet at home (like, totally forgot - I've had to drive back and get it a few times, but never from too far away) I got into an accident avoiding an idiot who freaked out when his rear slid out and slammed on his brakes. So I swerved to avoid and hit the curb. Anyways cop showed up and when he asked for my license I was understandably ******** my pants upon looking for and not finding my wallet (it was in my bike jacket, not the regular one I was wearing). But I wasn't too far from home so I called my mom to have her bring it, and the cop was cool about it. *phew*

Why do you think they call it "dope"? :icon23:

Stealth_Z 02-03-2010 06:06 PM

Ehh, I went to gas station to get gas... I reach into my pocket. No wallet... I felt stupid. Cause I already opened my gas cap. I tried looking inside the car for some loose change. I fail. Had to play it cool... Left the station right away lol

I stash 5 or 10 bucks in the car just for such Emergencies...

m4a1mustang 02-03-2010 06:41 PM

I do too but because of the snow I was driving a different car.
