I checked the weather for home for the week. Highs in the low 50's and lows in the low 40's plus rain. Have flooding to look forward to.

Haven't turned a wrench on the Z since mid December because of PA flooding...

Finished basement.. 12" of drywall cut off the bottoms of the walls..

The river would have to raise something like 500 ft to get to me. That would be a Noah event. I've seen it come up 45 ft back in Nov 1985. We call it the Election Day Flood. It's what they call a 1,000 yr flood.

I’ve been through a flood. It’s the most helpless feeling. Hopefully you can recover ok. Time to relocate?

It wasn't Katrina or anything like that, just a ton of rain over a 12 hour period, sump couldnt keep up. Crazy because my office/gaming stuff was setup down there and I had just moved it up into a spare bedroom a couple weeks prior. That alone would have depleted my insurance max benefit.

I grew up in Johnstown. I'm sure you're familiar with the intimate history Johnstown has with floods...

The "Bathtub" section of 375 in downtown Pittsburgh...

Why PA flood so much?
