Finally have all the parts to replace the CSC/CMC, and I will be taking to a shop to get it replaced. My car can only make it a short distance (about 10 miles) before the clutch pedal goes soft and losing fluid in the reservoir.

Fever Racing is where I will most likely be going and spoke with the owner directly on separate occasions, with the last interaction somewhat putting me on edge. He is the one that recommended the ZSpeed kit, as he would not install the Z1 Kit. But what caught me off guard was he asked if I was planning on replacing the flywheel, to which I replied the kit I ordered came with it and he recommended leaving in the OEM flywheel while pairing with the clutch that came with the CMAK kit. He said something about the single mass FW from ZSpeed produces more noise and ruins the "engine harmonics".
After speaking with George at ZSpeed, he informed me that the clutch that comes with the CMAK kit that I ordered is not compatible with the OEM dual mass FW.

1. I'm wondering why Fever Racing that claims they have done many of these CMAK installs would tell me otherwise than what ZSpeed says. I'm pretty sure George knows his products when he said the OEM FW is not compatible with the clutch that I ordered. Can anyone chime in on this?

2. I've posted this before and have done tons of research. I am reading mixed reviews about Fever Racing (formerly Z Fever), between the reviews and even on this site. I've read raving threads whereas other threads are horror stories on this very site. Can anyone speak from experience on Fever Racing?

The stack height of the CMAK has to match the stack height of the flywheel and pressure plate. If not, you either get a pressure plate that won't release or a pressure plate that won't engage.

You have a aftermarket flywheel pressure plate set up with a CMAK set to it. If you use the oem flywheel instead. You will have issues.

As always, thanks for the helpful responses! :tiphat:

On a side note, I'm just going to throw this out there. As you may be aware, I don't like spring breakers nor snow birds. Given that we are in the winter season and the cold can be miserable, in FL, it supposed to be mid 70s for the next couple weeks. I will give you a one-time pass to come to FL as a snowbird with welcoming arms if you help me replace the CMC/CSC. Just saying

There's NOTHING like spending Christmas in shorts/sandals on the beach with clear blue skies and fishing in emerald green saltwater in 70-degree weather.
