'There is a pronounced slowing in producer goods, and if I had to bet, I would say that this is going to lead to lower prices for the goods sitting on the store shelves in the coming months.'"

Hey dumb@$$, if the prices are where they are with the currently inventory/supply "sitting on the store shelves", producing less will continue to drive the price up.
