Another possibility it that the fluid is getting past the seals in the master cylinder. This would also present a symptom of lower clutch fluid levels without evidence of a leak. I experienced this a lot with the Z1 CSCEK (fuckin piece of garbage).

Better yet, Jar, wanna make a trip to FL and help me replace the CSC/CMC?

I would but I was discussing my travel plans on a chess forum and found out there was a travel advisory issued for the state. It must be all the tornadoes. Far be it from me to question their expertise

The truth is, I dynamat'd my entire Z, (trunk/roof/entire cabin) I had bought a lot of it from Tracie (a fellow forum member) and I had some left over so I did put it on my hood. Eventually I ended up getting a carbon fiber hood, Madwi (another forum member and a good friend of mine) allowed me to store my Z in his garage, and Madwi said he would take it because he had just bought Trac Spec hood vents for his Z and he wanted to cut up my former hood for practice before he installed his Trac Spec hood vent on his. (again, you can easily verify this with Madwi, this is the truth).

Did Madwi actually do this, no he did not, so I believe someone else that needed it, had picked it up from Madwi's house. So despite what my fans would say or believe to be true, those are the facts.

Ohh, and one other thing, my fans often talk about this ice cream thing with my credit card, again they're not telling you the truth, the truth is, we went to this place on lake michigan that only accepted cash, I had never been to this place and I didn't know thats all they accepted was cash, I don't carry cash on me, so yes Jarblue bought me an ice cream cone. (Thank you Jarblue). But all this talk about my credit card being declined, its laughable. Its those same guys driving their 2009/2010/2011/2012/2013 -- 370Zs... Last time I looked in the garage, there's this beautiful Absolute Zero Toyota Supra 3.0 Premium Edition thats almost paid off, and its sooooo much faster than the 370z :icon17:.. So trust me when I say this, my credit rating is legit, I don't have to put money down for sh*t for anything..and that my friend, thats a fact!:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Couldn't help but toss in a "you're all broke azzez" dig on a forum for 370Zs :icon14:

I wouldn't bust your ball if you'd stop being an azz to everyone constantly. Everyone hates that chit and you do it online and in person.

Anyway...Remember that time EW asked Joby for Trigger pics :tiphat: Not that there is a problem with that but it's more of a private message thing. Not something everyone needs to know you're interested in :icon14:

It's not about the semantics. You can't break it down into 'one specific topic is ok" and "another specific topic is not ok'. That's how you break down communication into gibberish. It's just not feasible to have rules that cover every single real world scenario.

You are on a car forum. Said car forum is privately owned and operated. This means they can set whatever policies they want. And when I see the high rate at which online interactions across multiple social media platforms quickly devolve into a toilet bowl spiral, I don't blame them for having a blanket policy to prohibit the discussion of politics - it gives them a stronger grip to keep things from getting out of control. Frankly, I can't believe how passionate you guys are in your quest to share your political thoughts with a car forum lol (additional thoughts on that below).

And let's get real. This forum isn't moderated anymore. It takes quite a bit for Trips to come in and say anything. But that dumb political discussion the other day got a lot dumber real quick. On both sides. The forum rule is intended to prevent idiotic back and forths like that. Obviously there are plenty of conversations that are civil and do not bring about the wrath of Trips despite their violation of the rules. Be smart about it and there won't be any problems.

I'd rather just see more pictures of dogs lol

Huh? Apathy? Where did I say ignore the problem? In fact, I commented exactly the opposite as quoted below. Your statement is pretty bold considering it's ignorance from my perspective :twocents:

I will repeat again... this is a car forum. It was not started as or intended to be a place for political conversations. I sure as hell am not getting information for my political choices from a car forum. It is simply inappropriate on so many levels. So the owner and operator of the forum made a choice to exclude that topic of conversation from this forum. That's their right and you can choose to respect the rules or not.

And don't rail at me like I'm against having the conversation. Civil discourse is an amazing and powerful societal tool that is so rarely wielded these days. It should be welcome in all forms on all mediums. Unfortunately, some people cannot be civil about it, and so, in this particular instance, the owner has made the (IMO smart) choice not to allow the use of this forum for political conversations.

Since the forum has such little moderation these days, there is plenty of freedom to toe the line. But instead of escalating the situation by getting defensive because someone called you out for talking politics, perhaps a more appropriate response would be to recognize that further discussion in a less-than-civil manner violates the spirit of the forum rules and toning it down slightly or abandoning the conversation altogether would be a more respectful approach to the rules and your fellow forum members.

Of course, I shouldn't be one to talk. I report all of the Asians on here daily. Just for being Asian :stirthepot: because I'm jealous

1st Bolded Statement: Because while I understand (and respect) your POV, it doesn't mean that I necessarily agree with it. I respect you as a person, but we can have differing opinions. This dialogue in itself could be considered [forum] "politics" lol, and which was why I asked for them ("the owners") to further clarify this broad term. As I mentioned in a previous post, it's one thing to try to force one's beliefs onto someone else, but expressing them diplomatically and civilly is simply having a conversation. FWIW, if you look through my posts, you won't find me lashing out at any members for not agreeing with me. You may find posts of me not being so welcoming to spring breakers/snow birds as a general group, but that's another topic.

2nd Bolded Statement: I agree with you on this. BUT, given that this is an off-topic thread, people share their views/opinions on a variety of topics. I also agree with you on certain topics going south because someone gets butthurt and bent out of shape about what was said, but that's not the topic's fault. It's that person/people not knowing how to control their temper tantrum. I actually had a member attempt to make me look dumb because I asked a question about the new Z’s have the CSC on the outside or inside of the tranny when this member apparently mis-read/interpreted what I asked. I politely told said member to go pound salt and to carefully read my post, and that was the end of it.

3rd Bolded Statement: Again, agree with you here. Regardless of topic, having a civil conversation is a powerful medium, but again, it’s not the topic that causes the issue, but rather people not knowing how to control and carry themselves.

4th Bolded Statement: Umm….what?

Yep, I also remember seeing you post a few times about having to adjust this every so often. Def. don't want to do this.

Jar, like I said, the topic isn't the issue. It's how people react to what was said.

EW, at the end of the day, you know what happened and the truth. What anyone else says/thinks shouldn't matter.

In the spirit of friendship, I'll buy ice cream for everyone.
