For example, I've been working with an out-of-state client for about 4 months on a mortgage loan. They decide to make a trip to FL and visit the office today.

As we shook hands, he kinda froze up and stared at me confused:

Client: "You're Asian!"
Me: "Yes" :confused:
Client: "But you sound so White on the phone."
Me: "....Did my last name not give my ethnicity away?"
Client: *Still staring*
Me: *To break the awkwardness* Would you like me to throw in an Asian accent?"
