how is your bed and pillows? that plays a big part in your health, believe it or not.

Get to his age and you will find out. Everything hurts at different times. Growing old is not for wimps or woosey's.

Lots of factors involved here, age, bed, pillows, animals, general aches & pains and temperature (bed & room). If I get too hot at night, I wake up with a headache. We were dog-sitting and both dogs are not kennel trained for sleeping. Our dog is, her kennel is her space and she gets testy when one of the cats even gets close. Needless to say, the two we were dog-sitting HAD to sleep on the bed and I wound up having to keep moving one of them so I had space to sleep. Fortunately, both were little dogs... :icon14:

You're barking up the wrong tree. The day I can't self motivate. I'll be taking a dirt nap.

I looked at this... Is this something you had on your Z too?

Not sure if I would trust having a valve spring on my oil drain plug for the sake of convenience...I look at it as a POF I can do w/o. With that said, there are very few negative reviews, however, most of them point to leaks and fitment issues. Just be careful... would hate to see you lose an engine from a $30 dollar part. I'd be interested in hearing if this works for you.

Half the fun of changing my oil is whether or not I drop the oil drain plug in the pan or not. :rofl2:

yeah I had it on the Z, and currently on the QX too. Luckily, I haven't had any issues.

thanks for your insight though.

I had one on my 2012 & have one on my 2015. The important thing is to get the correct one for the oil pan, and install it with a new washer. The only drawback is that it does take a little bit of time for the oil to drain. It is a whole lot better than getting splashed with warm oil... and dropping the drain plug. :icon17:

eastwest2300 08-11-2021 10:30 AM

I know when I bought my first one, the locking collar didnt come with it, now they include them.

At the power plant. We put valves on the oil drains of some of the equipment. But we also installed pipe plugs in the end as insurance.
