this sounds like something I need to have done.. i was recently told I have arthritis in both knees... very very painful.

I was on Synvic for 4 yrs. My knees feel great now. I would get a synvic injection. 3 months later, a cortisone injection. 3 months later, another synvic injection. Then another cortisone injection. That's the cycle I was on.

My knees are more flexible with the first shot. Hopefully it will increase stability as well.

When you got the injection. Did you feel your knee being pushed apart from the inside? And when you first started to walk on it. Did your knee feel a little funny? My injections would last close to 3 months before wearing off. Once i retired, I stopped the injections and my knees are doing good. I'm not beating them up like I used to.

Yes it was pretty wild. They a tablet and the image is displayed via ultrasound. You can see the fluid going and expanding. The doctor said I should repeat the series every six months. That works for me if I can stay pain free.

There was no ultra sound for me. The doctor felt around my knee. Put freeze spray on the area. Put the needle in and squeegeed. No pain what's so ever. If the wifey was in the room. She would almost pass out watching it being done. :rofl2:
