The bmw’s for the longest time were actually impossible to hack as well. Most folks were just running a piggy back “juice box” controller from burger tuning. They work very well and have a good track record. They can also be removed before going into the dealer so it’s much less obvious you’re modded to help improve chances of keeping your warranty.

I was peeping it out last night.. Its like $500+ and thats not even a full tune..

I may just wait it out until there's a reputable tuner out there that can get the job done.

It'll give me time to save up some pennies to spend $2k+ on an exhaust..

I'll admit it. After I got the windshield replaced and started driving the Z again. Pulled up with the pump on the driver side. Got out. Went

To save face, I grabbed the air hose and filled up the tires and then grabbed the squeegee and cleaned all the windows. I pulled up on the correct side (same station) to get gas on my way home after a few hours at the office

I love that little neighborhood gas station. It's family run by a no-nonsense mom with Shell gas, three-bay garage, separate large vehicle bay building out back, and 3 two-post lifts outside. Free air and water plus the glass cleaner and towels are always stocked. Closest two pumps to the door are full service. Charmingly old school
